COMMUNITY

NICF offers educational programs and professional development opportunities for fraternal foundation professionals and volunteers throughout the year.

Programs are structured around five educational
curriculum areas: fundraising, communications,
stewardship, management and engagement.

THE FOUNDATIONS SEMINAR
THE Foundations Seminar is the premier educational event for foundation professionals and volunteers to learn, collaborate, and explore solutions to shared problems.
INSTITUTE FOR GREEK ADVANCEMENT
Each year in January, the NICF convenes a think tank of fraternal foundation leaders and informed community supporters to conduct an executive level strategic planning retreat.
GREEK RETREAT
The Greek Retreat is a two-day, hands-on conference that provides attendees with proven, practical annual fund and stewardship strategies in a small group setting.
BROWN BAGS
NICF member professionals participate in monthly Indianapolis brown bag lunch events focused on specific industry topics like stewardship, annual fund, etc.

“I couldn’t do my job without attending NICF programs!”

I couldn’t do my job without the support and friendships that have been gained through attending programs provided by the NICF – brown bags, THE Foundations Seminar, IGA, as well as the survey data, statistics and other resources made available to me help me set expectations for realistic goals.
